I began with wide exterior shots to showcase the property, followed by tighter frames of guests stepping off the bus and into the venue. These images help tell the full story for associations: the journey, the welcome, and the atmosphere before the formalities even begin.
Once guests were seated, the evening moved into speeches and presentations. Low-light photography at dinners like this is always a balancing act: too much flash, and you kill the atmosphere; too little, and you end up with grainy shadows.
