How the session runs
We start with a quick walkthrough of the space and light, then use simple warm-up poses before building variation in outfits, angles and expression. The pace stays steady, and I check that the direction still feels right as we go.
What to bring
Two to four outfit options are usually plenty. An oversized shirt, blazer, robe or knit can add variety without needing a suitcase. Bring simple touch-up items and anything that helps you feel comfortable between looks.
Pricing and booking
Boudoir sessions start from $650 plus GST for a standard session. Final pricing depends on the location, whether video is involved and any print, album or special delivery requests. Send preferred dates, a location idea and the general tone you want.
Privacy, editing and delivery
Fully edited images are normally delivered within 7 to 14 days through a private online gallery. No image is posted publicly without explicit permission. If you would prefer to approve individual images or keep the whole session offline, say so before the shoot.
Choosing a location
A hotel can feel polished, a home can feel familiar, and a quiet outdoor location can suit a more subtle approach. Light, privacy, access and comfort matter more than choosing a location because it looked good in somebody else’s shoot.
A boutique hotel
Hotels work well for a polished editorial feel and controlled privacy. The room cost is separate unless already arranged, and spaces with good window light usually give the most flexibility.
Your home
Home can be the most comfortable option, especially for a first session. A tidy room, useful window light and a plan to avoid interruptions are more important than having a magazine-ready house.
