The plan was to shoot mid-morning for interiors while the light was still soft, then capture the exteriors and drone work later in the afternoon when the shadows stretched long across the banks. Shooting day – clean, calm, and worth the drive
The drive out from Adelaide is about an hour, and that stretch of highway through Tailem Bend always reminds me why South Australia has some of the best light in the country. Both homes were spotless on arrival, which always makes life easier. I started with the interiors — bright kitchens, simple styling, and a few thoughtful details that gave each house its own feel. The first home had warmer tones, timber flooring, and a soft country charm. The second leaned a bit more modern, with a cooler palette and sharper angles.
